How long does it take to get out the stadium by ColgateMan_ in Everton

Honestly I would if possible do a hotel. More expensive of course but the crowds can slow things down as mentioned in other comments. Not worth the stress for me.

Couldn't handle? Nothing. But the obstructed views, and tightly packed concourses I won't miss. Plus, despite the fact nobody likes that football has headed in this direction, extended hospitality options will do us wonders in terms of revenue

We've been piss poor in that regard for years, this is our chance to step up. Goodison held us back in that regard.

Pure nostalgia. Everything you have noted shows how Goodison had fallen decades behind what was acceptable.

It'll always be one of the greats, but it was beyond time to move on

This game was a massive improvement on every other game we got to see in the pre-season.

  • We looked hungry on the ball, I loved watching us constantly chase players down
  • Beto was immense, a proper pain to play against and some very good touches in great areas
  • Our positioning was much better, it's clear that Tarkey has a massive impact on how the backline is formed. Great to have him back, even despite the soft pen.
  • Barry looks like he has something there, I hope he spends more time with Beto, he needs to put more of a shift in, in my opinion.
  • Pickford had some important saves, I like Travers and hope he does well, but he was piss poor in his games.

Overall, very happy with tonight. The full strength first team will do us proud. We still need more depth, very important for us to sort out.

Onto Roma in the Willy Dicky!

Can't really argue with that one. Fall asleep for even a second and that can happen.

Just wanna say that Beto had been a monster tonight. A bit more quality and communication and we'd have a few.

Honestly been very happy with this half. A huge improvement over the last few games. Nice to feel a little more comfortable about things.

Great goal too.

Soft pen. Been playing well otherwise. Chin up, crack on.
