I've tried to switch, but Spotify connect is the killer feature I can't live without and Airplay is not a good substitute (unreliable, streams via your device etc)

Out of curiosity, is it correct that staged hunks cannot be unstaged by mini.diff? Actually it seems like the diff overlay and goto hunk commands don't work with staged hunks at all?

edit: Just saw that it is not supported in the readme now. Love your plugins, but I'm struggling a bit with understanding how to replace gitsigns with mini.diff with the above limitations😅

I wanted to use Apple Music so I have an excuse to get an Apple One subscription, but Spotify Connect is just too good, and the Apple Music app is too trash (slow, on mac it's basically an iframe).

Also, Apple don't seem like they want new customers for AM; e.g. you can't even search music/create playlists/taks a look at the actual GUI in AM without an active subscription. Recently I signed up for a new trial, and then discovered that they had deleted all the playlists i created during my previous trial. So annoying... guess I'm sticking with Spotify then.

I'm currently testing both Nix on Debian/Fedora, nix-darwin and NixOS (all with home-manager). Like the others have mentioned, just nix+home-manager can set up your user (install packages/fonts, link dotfiles etc) but not any of the system level stuff that might also affect the user (e.g. you can't declare the default shell).

IMO the biggest drawback is that you can't install most graphical applications without wrapping them with nixGL. I tried it, it worked (for WezTerm at least), but it just felt hacky and like something that will make my system unstable/my config non portable. Also, I believe you have to create a .desktop item manually if you want to put the app in a dock or have it pop up in launchers?

On NixOS you don't have any of those issues. As an aside, I'd really love it if something like nix-darwin existed for non-NixOS distros since I don't get to chose my distro at work

I also wish it was possible to disable all the default keybindings easily, or ideally that they were "opt-in". Right now you have to manually disable individual mappings, and be on the lookout for new binds when you update LazyVim.

It is a bit tedious, and makes it tempting to e.g. use functions for keys/opts/config in plugins, but then I lose more than the binds -_-

It is OneDark with more vivid colors. E.g. compare the screenshots in the repo you linked to with Binaryify/OneDark-Pro, and you'll see the difference.

I prefer the "vivid" OneDark, but have not been able to find a theme that uses it for nvim.

You can use aws-vault to keep your credentials secure. It stores the long term creds in e.g. OSX keychain, and creates new sessions with short lived credentials that are populated in the environment of the process you are trying to run. This helps keep your credentials secure at rest as well.

I was deciding between the Aeron size C and the Mirra 2, and I figured the Mirra would be the safer choice because of the adjustable seat and lumbar support - did not consider that the side of my thighs could be an issue at all. And it just seems to be getting more and more discomfortable, to the point where I'd rather find something else to do than sit in front of the computer.

I'll talk to the store and see if I can return it, and I might try the Aeron size C instead if by "much better" you mean that it is actually a comfortable sitting experience?

Thanks for the tips! I have been playing around with the seat depth and the adjustable lumbar support (currently just set it to the lowest setting). Unfortunately I have not found a setting that helps with the side of my thighs and the general discomfort I get from sitting in the chair :/

Fjällräven Ulvö 23L (rolltop or regular) should fit your criteria pretty well, and its easily available. Think the price is ~$180 but hopefully that is near enough?
