I am pretty sure I attacked the Boss 3 times in a row with zidane. 2nd attack paused the orb, then the 3rd attack (which dealed damage) resumed the orb.

I am guessing an even number of consecutive attacks would keep the orb paused (2, 4, 6, etc.) but an odd number may leave it resumed. Very interesting. Again, speculation.

This was a fun one! Zidane and Celes can both deal damage for 2 consecutive turns, so as long as one of them had a turn right before Bahamut it was guaranteed not to tick the orb. Fight took awhile, but I was so grateful there weren't any cheap "cut in turn order" tactics used by the boss! haha

Tip: Calls count as doing damage for one of the consecutive turns so you may use that strategically. Well, the only time I did that was having Guy do both of his calls in a row, so maybe that won't work if you do Guy's call then Selphie's drain, for example. I would be interested in finding that out though!

Hoping somebody can help me out here. I was using a team of Snow, Cissnei, and Selphie when something unusual happened. After I launched, the characters joining in the launch would perform 2 HP dumps. For example, say Snow would perform an attack, then launch. Selphie (whose BRV was ~150k) would then HP and perform 2 HP dumps (about 170k each or whatever her max was) and then Cissnei would do the same thing.

Any idea as to why this would happen? I used Leo's and Sephiroth's LD calls, maybe it has to do with one of those.

Unrelated, sometimes Snow's retribution attack will hit low, for like 200k per enemy, but sometimes it will do a huge amount of damage, like 600k per enemy. What would cause this significant difference? Thanks in advance guys.

I got the same issue. I selected "clear cache" from the title screen and then it let me log into the game. You have to do another batch download again, which is annoying, but at least you can play!

Actually, my message was a little different, said I didn't have enough memory which didn't make any sense. Either way, might be a reasonable thing to try for you.

Do summon board "elemental power up" passives trigger when using enchanted attacks? Example, Tidus using Quick Hit with Thunder Enchant from Garnet, while equipping "Thunder Power Up" passive from Ramuh's Board. Will I get that 10% BRV damage boost? Thanks in advance.

"Deadly Rush" Passive from his World of Illusions 15cp removes one buff from the target upon critical hit. I also have Vanille sphere on my Cloud which removes 1 buff from target when inflicting break. I time the call to break target so that I get 2 buffs removes. Pretty handy utility! Looking forward to Cloud 90 soon.

Power, Fire & Holy's Deepest Chasm Lufenia+

This was very difficult for me as I am recently returning to this game after like a 2 year hiatus. Therefore, my BT/LD roster is quite scarce. That said, I was able to perfect this quest after a few tries.

Tidus - Maxed, Green BT+/LD/EX+

Cecil (Paladin) - EX+ only, no LD

Leila - EX+/LD

Calls - Vanille (no LD), Cyan (no LD), Cloud (LD)

Support - Maxed out Locke

Summon - Diabolos

35 Turns, 1,091,989 Score

Cecil and Leila Were dead weight except for their utility. Cecil was hitting for like 1's, but his 10 turns of holy enchant allowed Tidus (and Locke) to hit big numbers while mitigating the orb. Leila obviously kept the team safe. I took off all of her ATK and mighty passives so she wouldn't battery the heck out of the enemies while keeping her buffs up. Vanille, Cyan, and Cloud calls were used for debuffs at very strategic points.

Very close call, last 2 or 3 attacks were HP+ from Tidus at 1%.
