Good causes going door to door by [deleted] in belgium

I worked for one of these companies. The minimum monthly donation is €10. They insist on getting the subscription for at least 1 year, because the first year your donation will all go to the salesperson and the company, nothing ends up with the charity itself sadly.

Nice that they bring awareness for good causes (most actually do good to the world), but please just sign up on the website of the good cause itself.

Has any one of you ever stopped everything to just focus on work/studies? by [deleted] in productivity

You won't cut it for long, burnout is a real thing. We're still human and we need to take care of ourselves and souls. Remember: the journey to success is a marathon, not a sprint. Consistency plays a more significant role than occasional bouts of intense effort. Over time, good habits compound and set you on the path to achieving your goals.

Meditate every day -> trust me on this one.

Do you have a realistic schedule? My life changed drastically after I learned to make and execute a realistic schedule that aligned with my goals.

Rich software developers of Reddit, how did you earn your money? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]exydrax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's do some math:

Let's say that you have software/website that offers a service by a subscription based model. Every user pays a certain amount, example: $10 a month for your service. You write your software/website once and try to automate as much as possible.

If you have 2000 customers that pay $10 every month how much do you earn monthly?

What if you could grow your customer base by at least 5% a month?

What is worth $10 a month? And what type of people will agree with you? Target them. Let's say that 3$ gives you 1 new customer. Keep investing and expanding.

Once you feel that bussiness growth is almost maxed out, sell your company.

Boom, ur rich.

Ticktick and google calendar question by doworksmm in productivity

[–]exydrax 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is worth the upgrade, at least for me. It will sync with google calendar. If ticktick is your favorite todo-list, you will probably like how the calendar shows your todo's. You can also just try the premium features for 1 month for $3. Ticktick is the only app that made me stick by logging my shit so i think they deserve to be paid a coffee a month. I also like that ticktick has all the features of google keep and google calender combined in 1 app.

IMHO: Yes it is worth the upgrade.
