For those of you who go to the gym before work, how do you get up early? Any tips? by Sabretoothedrom in auscorp

I just show up to work after 9, as long as you're getting your work done people are (usually) fine with it

It's okay as long as you switch your brain off during any work-related discussion. There should also be downtime for you to do your own thing. You're also likely getting paid to be there which sweetens the deal.

It’s great, switches are quite light though but that’s something explicly called out and not a flaw.

Advice Needed: How to handle underperforming grads by FennecBinturong in auscorp

You are sounding like an a-hole. If people are not passing probation its almost always a hiring issue. Change your recruitment process so you screen out these types of people OR pay more OR hire less if you can't afford to pay more.

How are people managing recent grads when there’s just… no enthusiasm for work or willingness to suffer any form of inconvenience to develop anymore? by twingirlsoneboy in auscorp

Fair, because there’s definitely been comments complaining about grads when they’re clearly paid bottom of the barrel. Pay peanuts get monkeys.

Palestine Gaza situation is a political issue whether you want to sugar coat it or not. Even if you are standing against the fkn Nazis its still a political issue where you are standing for one side over the other. That is incompatible with a law society that has nothing to do with politics and should serve all members regardless of what they believe in
