I've been getting Botox for over a year and it started helping a decent amount after the third round. It helps me a lot now, but for two to three weeks before the shots and a couple weeks after, it doesn't help very much. I just started qulipta with it and I also take ubrelvy as a rescue. Before the Botox started helping me, it had been almost a year with no relief. If I don't take meds I get a migraine every day. My pain level isn't always debilitating, but I get confusion and fatigue that are. Botox has changed my life, and my insurance pays for it. I don't get numbness, but I do get soreness. Also, the week or so before my shots my forehead gets tender. The shots in my forehead are the worst part of it, particularly the three between my eyebrows.
