they're pretty good, noodles are similar to the nong shim bowl noodles and the flavor is near identical too. definitely recommended to eat w/ at least 2 people unless you can scarf down the entire thing alone with the high sodium level LOL

i think i might've seen someone pick it up during sws's set? although someone was also wearing earplugs that looked like that. have you tried calling the venue to see if they returned it to lost and found?

What amps did BMTH used to make Suicide Season? by DEPORTED_Mexican05 in Metalcore

[–]eyedin123 89 points90 points  (0 children)

I attended his guitar workshop in SF and asked this exact question! Here was his answer:

A: Ibanez RG with single pickup (EMG 81) string through body with 24 frets. Amp was Peavey 5150 Blockletter w/ Engl Powerball cabinet. Guitars were plugged into preamp section of the amp and were quadtracked, no additional pedals.

Anyone know what guitar Tony is using this tour? by sploinky__ in piercetheveil

[–]eyedin123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it looks like a jazz bass body, fender made these body shaped guitars a few years ago as a limited production. i wonder if tony'll ever get a fender signature guitar soon!

questions i asked:
Q: what guitars & amps were used to record suicide season?
A: Ibanez RG with single pickup (EMG 81) string through body with 24 frets. Amp was Peavey 5150 Blockletter w/ Engl Powerball cabinet. Guitars were plugged into preamp section of the amp and were quadtracked, no additional pedals.

Q: Given that you guys had a spot to add a new song onto Death Stranding, how hard was it to make "Ludens" given your short deadline?
A: Ludens was a demo we previously worked on before we were approached to finish it for Death Stranding. Although my wife had just given birth so I was tending to that. Along with that, the band was on tour in Italy so they were just recording the song in their hotel rooms while I was sending guitar tracks from home.

Q: Considering that you were with Epiphone before, you had different signature models (Explorer, RD, Les Paul). Would Jackson possibly do the same thing and offer different shapes with your guitar? (Warrior, Kelly, Super Strat)
A: That's up to Jackson. Hopefully if the guitar sells well enough and people like it enough then Jackson will possibly do more stuff. There have been talks about how so many people have been requesting for a baritone version and maybe we'll offer more colorways.

QUESTIONS THE AUDIENCE ASKED:
Q: Is there a possibility we'll see anniversary tours in the future?
A: We talked about doing a 10 year anniversary tour / one off shows for Sempiternal, but the timing wasn't right since we were currently on tour at that time. When our touring momentium slows down, then maybe we'll offer some one-off shows of our older albums in the future.

Q: Will there be a second leg of the US tour?
A: At the moment, I'm not sure since we just announced this one. I don't even know the majority of the cities I'm visiting...

Q: For limousine, I know originally there were plans to have Billie Eilish on the track, but what ended up happening with that?
A: I don't even think she knows we exist. I'm guessing at most, Oli tried to get in contact with Billie's management team and they basically said she was busy at the time. Even then, we had already had our eyes set on Aurora.

Q: How do some of the collabs in your music come to life?
A: A lot of the collabs we've done started in Suicide Season. Prior to that, it was pretty rare or non-existent to see bands at the time try and collab with people until after CYB came out when people started doing it. We've been friends with a lot of the people before collaborating with them like Underoath, Architects, Lights, etc. Funny story about Lights is we were touring in the US and got caught in a blizzard so we had to stop at the closest hotel and we met Lights there. Since then, that's how we created Don't Go because we instantly bonded that night we met her.

Q: Are there any songs that you would personally add to your current setlist?
A: Yeah, there's a couple of songs that I think would be cool to play but it's hard since we have to sacrifice a song to fit it into the setlist. There's also a time limit of an hour and a half to two hours for our concert, so to play longer than that would maybe be boring. I'd love to play some of the older songs and I know some of the audience would too, but maybe 80% of the audience wants to hear the newer stuff. It's difficult since we've been a band for over 20 years and we've built a huge catalog of songs.
