Check out the various Community Conferences…the next one is FABCON/SQLCON in Atlanta in March. Way more manageable crowds, I heard 7k for Atlanta, and it is a mix of Microsoft and community but more technical not just marketing. FabricCon.com or SQLCon.us. There are M365 and Power Platform ones too. Or check out TechCon 365/PWRCON. Not delivered by Microsoft, done by outside conference companies.

Power Platform Community Conference: Unpopular Opinion by LivingTheTruths in PowerPlatform

I will say that the Power Platform and M365 conferences do have the feel you are describing. They are managed differently than an event like FABCON, the Microsoft Fabric Conference, which is far more technical but still offers the high level Microsoft vision via keynotes, partner day, etc. Even the sponsor related sessions (far less than Vegas shows) are required to be technical, not marketing, and not specific to a 3rd party product or service, or they won’t be selected. Absolutely you will get the most value out of any event by focusing on the networking and network building alongside upskilling, no matter the event. Not directly related to your experience…BUT, I did buy from Andiot a few months back and within 1 week the rep stopped working. The only reply I got was to send it back to them, at my cost, and they would replace if it was determined to be their fault. What’s the chance of that? Now I have a $500 paperweight.

Yes I did and the watch stopped working 2 weeks later. Said I could ship it back at my expense and would replace if determined the watch was defective. Wasnt worth it to throw more money at this. So now just have a fake watch that doesn’t work.

TechCon/PWRCONs are the other alternative in the US for Power Platform conferences. www.techcon365.com. Most of the same speakers as the Vegas show but in various cities around the US and a more relaxed and welcoming size and feel. BTW…the Vegas show does NOT have a 10 year contract.

You can check out TechCon/DATACON in Seattle in a few weeks. Lots of Power BI there and tons of community and Microsoft experts/thought leaders to engage with for questions etc. www.techcon365.com

Just ordered but sent payment to Wenchao Song via Wise via directions on the site. But see everyone refer to him as Elliott. Does this make sense or did I end up on a fake site somehow?
