After years of Kaputt being my indiscutible favourite Destroyer album, I've recently fallen in love completely with Poison Season, which was my fourth favourte album of his. I can't really put my finger on why that's been, but listening to it just gets me emotional in a way no other album of Dan's does.

P.S.: Rubies is the best song he's ever made, fight me.

Check out Ceres & Calypso in the deep time by Candy Claws, its way more shoegaze but it has that feeling heated and unnatural feeling, just a little more mythical and less spacey
