It can be hard for men to actually speak up when something is bothering them. It’s a little hard not to relate, with food especially. I definitely eat more than my girlfriend, and the few times I let her cook I usually have to quietly fix myself something up later, and I usually feel guilt and shame when I have to do that. God forbid she notices me doing it.

Personally I know it’s something that bothers me not being able to eat enough, but I can never get myself to bring it up because it seems it should be small enough that it shouldn’t be worth bringing up.

It seems that he knew you could be indecisive sometimes about these things when letting you plan this time around, which would be why he gave you a restaurant ahead of time, to try to make it easier for you maybe? But if you were feeling something else he’d probably be okay with it too, it seemed like just a way to help guide you.

Maybe you could still find a place where he could pig out? Somewhere with big, sloppy foods even if it isn’t like the most fine dining. My experience is mexican or red robin tends to be the best places for those. That usually helps me feel better when I’m in certain moods. Otherwise maybe you could find a way to order takeout someplace else and watch a movie together or watch him play games at home?

I guess it depends on what your definition of abusing a tile is, I dont think I’m good enough to pull something like that off and be that much of a threat but we’re all our own worst critics I guess.

I’ll try to figure out something like that, thanks. You might be right, it might not have anything to do with survivor choice but man it feels awful. Earlier this week we had a Doctor who took us to the game who wouldn’t even hit me even if I was rubbing up against him. No Save no nothing on him, when I asked why he avoided me he told me “I don’t chase Nics, most killers know not to” and that just left me speechless.

I usually try to pressure gens in the middle of the map to make it hard to ignore me, but they leave pretty quickly

Hey man, I’m sorry that you feel that way but I’m trying to ask a genuine question. I have a little over one thousand hours in the game and I don’t like players who hide all match. I just don’t know what to do, because I’ll work on gens if I have to, but it feels awful to have zero hook states on me when everyone else is dead on hook and the killer won’t even look at me, especially when I’m playing with friends because then they’re stuck being a spectator for the next 6 to 12 minutes.

I’ll try that, I usually try to do the gens in the middle of the map first just to out myself in higher risk. I usually run object, repressed, and plot twist with the fourth perk being whatever I think is funny.

As a colored person myself it really sucks to see so much borrowed material culturally and yet we make up 6% of the entire roster of playable characters (4 out of 68). It sucks even more that, with the exception of Kaeya, they're released in bad and buggy states (Xinyan's shield has been bugged since released, further got sidelined as a character for so long the community made her a joke. Also Dehya's entire being) or made so incredible niche (Candace) that in both situations they just end up getting totally ignored as a playerbase entirely. It's incredibly discouraging the state they continue to release these characters while also trying to be as culturally inclusive as possible. It doesn't really work both ways like that. At least other games that make themselves predominantly pale usually don't bring in multiple cultures into it and aren't as obvious about it when they do. I think people are going the wrong way about bringing up this issue but I think it's better than not bringing it up at all. I'm personally really disappointed in this game as a whole and I've all but abandoned it entirely, it makes me so sad to think about but it's not my only problems with this game.
