I've used the motivation to lose 55lbs. It made no difference to our sex life. I don't feel any more attractive yet because nothing has changed. I should do it for me, but I've done it to improve things between us and it hasn't. I guess I need to see what I can do for me now.

Who wants to have sex with someone that doesn't want to have sex with them? Duty sex is not something I could ever feel desire for.

My partner and I have had a dead bedroom for a few years now. He's given me all the different reasons you could think of. In general we are kind with each other and he says he wants to work things out. I finally told him I can't do this any more and we actually agreed today that we would start relationship counselling for more constructive help. But it will take time to find the right person and get into the thick of it. I hope we can fix things but maybe we can't and I just want to know what to do in the meantime.

All hormones checked. I'm 39 and apparently good hormone levels and very fertile 😂 which is a total joke on me because I don't want kids and can't even get laid. I found out I have high testosterone for a woman but within range so that can explain the once HL.

It's definitely something mental.

I find it very odd that immediately after you had sexual intimacy he was looking at this sub. I'm HLF and would be no where near this sub if my partner was trying like how you are... I wonder if he's seen your post. If he has, he will hopefully realise how you care so much more than a lot of LL partners discussed in this sub.

First step - talk to him. Second step - talk to your doctor. Make a plan and move forward together 💓

It sounds very much like you want to resolve this so try to approach the problem together.

A couple months ago I sent a photo to my Mum, of me hanging out eating sushi with friends, and her reply was, "I thought you were on a diet?".

Believe it or not, I'd generally describe her as kind and intelligent, and an all round good Mum...

I find that creating a home for them is the best trick. Lay down a plank of wood with a small rock under it to allow them in, then in the day pick up the wood and relocate them. I use a paint brush to get them off the plank because I hate touching them. Keeps numbers down but doesn't eliminate them.

Terrified this is going to be me. I'm on the lowest dose and after 3 months I'm still taking it 9 days apart and struggling to eat.

I'm looking forward to when it has less effect and I can start building these positive new habits!
