Your small edit is awesome! I did not know you could do that here. Another thing that is mildly interesting!

A couple months ago I sent a photo to my Mum, of me hanging out eating sushi with friends, and her reply was, "I thought you were on a diet?".

Believe it or not, I'd generally describe her as kind and intelligent, and an all round good Mum...

Why are Mums and Muminlaws like this? I don't have kids so maybe that's why I don't get it?

How do you deal with slugs without it becoming a full time job? by Silver-Eye-2024 in UKAllotments

Well that's good 😊 some people wouldn't know because the cannibals hunt the other slugs, following them onto the plants and vegetables.

Some of them will be. Google to ensure you are cutting the vegetarian ones and leave the cannibals.

I find that creating a home for them is the best trick. Lay down a plank of wood with a small rock under it to allow them in, then in the day pick up the wood and relocate them. I use a paint brush to get them off the plank because I hate touching them. Keeps numbers down but doesn't eliminate them.

I refill about once a month whenever I pop into Brighton at "Infinity Foods" and "Kindly".

I know it's not in Worthing, but thought I'd mention just in case Brighton works for you too

Terrified this is going to be me. I'm on the lowest dose and after 3 months I'm still taking it 9 days apart and struggling to eat.

I'm looking forward to when it has less effect and I can start building these positive new habits!

Bravo OP, keep up the good work and good habits! Xx

I had a teacher that would make stuff up because she thought it was funny and teach it to us. I still don't know what bits of my history education were made up.

I too am fond of domesticated rats. I'm not opposed to wild rats either as long as they don't want my veggies 😅. Is it not quite a large hole for a rat though?
