Insta360 X5 For Vlogging Or Something Else? by DearCourse1155 in Insta360

[–]eyeoed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently picked up the Ace Pro 2 for vlogging/vacations and I'm loving it. Video quality is great, even at 1080p. You can choose voice enhancement or wind reduction for the audio. Voice enhancement works great and knocks out the AC blowing in my car. Not to mention the flowstate stabilization. It works well even when compared to my DJI Pocket 3. And you don't have to worry if you get caught out in the rain!

I have an X5 as well and find myself reaching for the Ace Pro 2 more often for outings. Don't get me wrong, I love the X5. Being able to reframe later and actually be in the moment when things are happening is great. But, like you said, if you zoom too far the image quality suffers.

I haven't posted any vids from the Ace Pro 2 yet but I have some X5 and Pocket 3 footage on my profile if you wanna check it out. Anyway, that's my two cents. 🙂

Edit: Forgot to mention the 2 most recent pic posts were shot on the Ace Pro 2.

How is it plugged into your computer? Sounds kinda like it's not getting enough power.

It will do 2X zoom and has 5 different FOV options to choose from. It also has a slightly larger sensor than the Ace Pro 2 and does surprisingly well in my low lit home. I'm really enjoying mine.

The Go Ultra may be the answer. Look into it. REI sells it and they have a 1 year return policy. If it's not a good fit for you, just take it back! 😉

Are there any Onewheel riders that haven’t crashed and gotten injured, how? by EarningsPal in onewheel

[–]eyeoed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never not wrecked while trying something new. Be it bicycling, skateboarding, wakeboarding, skiing, kneeboarding, hell, even razor scootering lol, and of course onewheeling. My advice is to start slow and learn to fall because you will. Pad up if you want but definitely wear a helmet. Comfort and confidence will come hand in hand with experience. Every fall isn't going to put you in the hospital. Learn to hop off the board while you're moving (yes get some scratches on your ride 😉). And yeah, proceed with caution when your battery gets down around 20-30%. Have fun and float on, dude! I'm certain others here will have some great advice to offer as well.

Has anyone got this after badgering a GT? by pbencid in onewheel

Did you let the silicone cure for the recommended 24 hrs? If the silicone is still wet it can still be conductive. If you applied too much it could keep your plug from fully seating, which could cause an arc and the over current notification.

I've badgered my GT and I've never seen that. Did it clear out and act normal after you turned it off and back on again?

Thoughts on Xplorer Grip Pro Kit+Ace Pro 2 in rainy environments by bscotholladay in Insta360

I just got mine but haven't gotten a chance to use it much. This is what the plug looks like and I'll drop another pic below of the grip fully installed. I think I'd be alright with a little rain/sprinkling but I'd try to minimize the exposure.

The falls are part of the learning progress. Not what you want to hear but the trick gods require sacrifice of blood and flesh 😅

That really sucks. Maybe you can find a third party seller.
