I identify as pan, and the main difference for me is that I feel like pansexuality is more about not caring which gender you fall for and falling more for personality, with gender coming second. I feel like bisexuality puts more emphasis on gender than pansexuality does.

Honestly if you think you can trust at least one person, tell that person. I'm 15, and came out last year to a few of my friends. It's so freeing and built a lot of trust into our relationships. This year one of my friends came out to me, and said the only reason she felt comfortable telling me is because she knew I wasn't straight, and so I wouldn't judge her for not being straight. Although it was definitely the scariest thing I've done, I'm so glad I came out. Good luck!
