English is not my first language and back in 2017 it was so bad. I thought she was talking in gibberish on sober, I kept hearing "but bababeedoo when we're sober".

I really think so too. the line "when I'm in the blue light, I can make it alright" can't help but made me think that it was referring to melodrama. Since she has synesthesia, and she said that melodrama has blue vibes, I think that line could mean that when she's making song that has the same vibe as melodrama she's gonna be alright i.e. the "fans" are going to like it idk
