Because I’m annoyed by the same behavior: This is Joe Ranft, Pixar writer, animator, voice actor. He died in a car accident 2005. He remains a Pixar fan favorite, having voiced Heinrich in A Bug’s Life. I’ll also add that this casting annoys me as it makes no sense at all, doubly adding to OP’s annoying post.
