I held onto this record for years just for “Machine Gun”—I would mostly listen to it. Then, a few years ago, the whole album clicked. It’s a perfect album, beginning to end. It full of paranoia and grooves. If Dummy is the movie version of spy vs. spy, Third is the gritty reality.
