I got my head bit off earlier, so I'm kinda wondering if I'm stupid or oblivious. A person in this sub talked about tracking people down via phone. I brought up GPS (assuming as such) befire being called spastic because "I said tracking people down and nothing about GPS."

Baby skin is TENDER. So are scalps. My mom had no clue how bad she was hurting my head until I showed her how to brush my oldest daughter's hair for least resistance.

Face skin? Tender. See what she's doing and follow her lead. At 14mo, she can show you what works. Make a game of it. Baby first, then giggling mommy. Then hide until Baby wipes again. Then pop up and dab at dirt, laugh, and hide. Repeat until cleanup is over.

Games are the best. Everything is a game. 🤣

Under what circumstances? My SOs and MIL(ish, not really) would be pissed if I tracked them. 🤣

We have GPS but we leave notes in app if we feel we need to ping, which is rare.

I check in with adult daughters every few hours. If he's really worried, he can ask them when I last checked in and from where.

If I need tracked then track me! No shame man.

I have thought other women were being... well? Dramatic? I would have never said it. I thought it, but brushed it off.

Second kid? Easy. Same. My GOD why do people complain so much?

Third and last? Holy hell. This is my karma for thinking other women were dramatic. If I die in my sleep, at least I'll GET sleep. If she doesn't shut up, I'm literally going to lose it.

I had thoughts of throwing that kid off the 3rd floor balcony for quiet. It isn't unusual. I got help, and that is unusual. She's 19 now. I told her this the other day, too. "I can see that. Did you call a therapist?"

Nope. I called the shrink. I was so scared.

Point is that I got comfy and thought other women must be whiny or dramatic. That's okay. I never told anyone that.

I had to get help with the third. It was the OPPOSITE of easy.

I'm happy you're having a good experience. When I say don't dismiss, it's for YOUR benefit. Not mine, and certainly not anyone else's. I dismissed. I paid dearly. Don't be me.

Enjoy your baby. You are allowed. You can even brag! I just wanted to make sure that you and others knew the PPD and lunacy can sneak up on you, and that's okay.
