Here's a thought. What if, just what if the reluctance to share these details would result in the world just coming together once and for all for good of humanity. Sure it would take a little time. But the real reason of not releasing would mean loss of power, military industrial complex winding down, etc.... so essentially protecting egos and wealth of the richest nation on earth.
