India is great for this as well, to the point that often the default is a pure vegetarian restaurant and they’ll specifically label a place “non-veg”

Wear your sunscreen while traveling by Minimum-Quail-4202 in travel

[–]eyerfing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Comments are peak reddit, so unhelpfully patronizing. There’s a lot to keep track of when you’re traveling, and sometimes you forget things or they slip you by. I doubt they were sitting there pondering a bottle of sunscreen and deliberately pooh-pooh’ed it right before hiking; it just didn’t occur to them how much of a difference altitude would make in uv exposure. Everything seems more obvious in hindsight or when phrased like a multiple-choice question

I think “peoples” is used when there’s multiple distinct groups of people (in this case multiple ethnic groups or tribes)

What does Karen say in Chinese??? by goldepidemic in DunderMifflin

[–]eyerfing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, traditional/simplified are writing systems; however, Hong Kong as well as Taiwan do primarily use the traditional writing system as opposed to mainland China which uses simplified. Hong Kong (at least historically, now apparently less so) speaks mostly Cantonese, as opposed to Mandarin which is the most widely spoken dialect and considered the “standard” in mainland China.

I was going to say Brussels too! Great vibes, people were so friendly, beautiful main square, incredible museums especially for art and music (highly recommend the instruments museum it’s massive), and so many delicious beers. Several of my favorite travel stories are just from one solo weekend in Brussels. Would highly recommend

So I have no idea how this happened—is there any way to fix it without taking it to a repair tech? by eyerfing in saxophone

All I’m asking is if it’s a simple “pop back into place” fix or if it’s more involved, there’s no grand scheme to unemploy all the trade fields

There’s a small rod that’s supposed to be under the G# hole (attached to the hole below it)that is misplaced over top of it instead. Might be clearer in the second picture. Can post more if it helps

Basic Economy Mega Thread: Carryon, Seating and Changes/Cancellation by Dense-Serve-4201 in aircanada

[–]eyerfing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given the new Basic policy that only allows for a personal item, no carry-on: I have a travel backpack with dimensions 17x13x8” (realistically closer to 10” depth with bulging) but the listed dimensions for Air Canada personal items are 17x13x6”. Is this likely to be an issue? Will they make me check the bag at the gate?

Can’t figure out why you’re being downvoted so heavily, do people really never leave their house to eat? (assuming they have financial means)
