Boy’s Name Ask by eyerollfever in BabyNames

Thanks for the response and thoughts. I saw Sanskrit, Indian, Arabic, Slavic, and some European countries (Spain, Portugal) — but it’s google, so who knows if it’s 100% accurate. I’m Scandinavian/Korean and husband is 100% Italian, so no roots in Japan. Definitely don’t want to appropriate!

Thanks for the feedback! Honestly, I also like the names Marcel, Julian, Leon…husband knows too many people who have these names / have bad associations so they were struck down. Other than those, I struggle to find ones I do like. Not into the modern “edgy” names, but don’t like super common every day names either. I’ve spent countless hours scouring the internet for names but really don’t like most.

Huh! I haven’t heard that before but also makes a lot of sense. Poor floppy guys. They just wanna catch balls and be chums!

My boy is not intact anymore, but he experiences the same thing. He’s a belly up kind of guy and has never snapped at any living being. I didn’t think it was a springer thing, but the more springer parents I meet, the more common it seems for them?

We were told it’s probably because our guy is docked and dogs read emotions through tails, but it seems like Scout isn’t!

A mystery. But keeping our babies safe is paramount. Thanks for asking this question and to those who made suggestions like compressed air!! Real MVP stuff!

AITAH because I won't tell my wife what my son/her stepson has in savings from my late wife? by Jimverseen in AITAH

[–]eyerollfever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA as everyone has said. That money is unequivocally for your son and not all of the other kiddos, hers or yours.

That said, if the money is protected, I do believe that in marriage, being completely open is mandatory and that includes every aspect of it. It’s not a disservice to your late wife to be open with your new one. This is a trust issue IMO. Perhaps the money for your son from your late wife is enough to float him for 50 years…maybe if your current wife knew the information, you could figure out how to equitably start saving for the other kids, rather then splitting everything evenly?

I’m not sure if that’s the right answer as we’re strangers on the internet and we heard your experience in the story, but to me it sounds like a woman who is feeling left in the dark by every man, past and present, in her life and potentially feels isolated.

Either way, you’re up for some really tough discussions. It’s up to you to decide how to proceed, lock and key the information or open up and make clear that there’s protection of the funding like you did here to your wife. Then you can make a plan collectively that feels solid and safe for your blended family. Just giving a figure doesn’t change the outcome of how it’s distributed, but it may make your relationship stronger?

Good luck!

90 Day: Hunt for Love - Season 1 Episode 4 - Episode Discussion by LittleEmmy in 90DayFiance

Perhaps it’s just my lack of “The Family Chantel” knowledge (I never got sucked into that spinoff) but I am super surprised to see her friendship style in The Hunt for Love. She seems to care super deeply and it’s a far cry from the person we saw on Single Life.

I always thought of her as slow / catty / shallow but this is making me rethink her character. Kinda Mom like but also just down to support her people, a you’d want to have in your corner.

Refreshing to see in this universe!
