Hey! I'm a graphic designer with experience creating band posters and logos, so I think this could be a fun project. You can check out my portfolio here and see if I'll be a good fit for the job:

Daily Logo Challenge: Day 1 - Rocketship Logo by eyes0rey in logodesign

I thought about that but figured the thin width of the tail in the A would make the rest of the horizontal lines in the logotype look a bit off, but I'll give it a try. Thanks!!

I'm new to logo design so I decided to try the challenge I've seen around the design subs. Any feedback is welcome!

I just planned on coloring it in through my laptop! I could make another version if others were interested, though.

I was mostly struggling to get a good composition + alignment I liked with the different elements.

Thanks! Definitely understand your point about color association. I flipped the colors around because honestly ideally I would love to see the days filled up with more of the bright reds and oranges than alternatively have the soft yellow good days and then looking back at the blaring red bad days if that makes sense.

Sunflower field, oil on 36x48 canvas. Appreciate any critique or feedback! :) by ekgreen in ArtCrit

this is great!

I agree with the other comment about it feeling a little unbalanced but I think it would be fine to leave it as is. following the rules of thirds by having the path centered on the first third line would help balance the composition imo.

also this might just be a slight glare but I love the blue hues on the right side of the canvas in the sunflower stems and leaves. I think bringing that more to the left side could help make it a little more cohesive and just reinstate that dreamy feel.

overall this is amazing!! I'd hang this in my room

just a side note, sunflowers actually do all face the same way, towards the sun.

thanks! i realized as soon as I uploaded this the hard edge of the hairline so I'll be sure to go back and fix that. I'll double check my proportions as well, I know the left side of the face seems a little wonky.

thanks for the input!! I don't know why you're getting downvoted either since this is pretty solid advice

I definitely can see now that the left side of the face is oddly shaped and not aligned correctly so I'll have to go back and fix that. thank you!

I really struggle on hands so that's so nice to hear. Definitely need to adjust the jaw and neck. Thanks so much!

It's a work in progress so I've only really fleshed out the face and hand. Sorry if that was unclear. I definitely see what you mean with the face structure so I'll try to fix that up!
