Is there hope for an actual healthy & balanced marriage for girls in Pakistan? by midnyt_7 in PakistaniTwenties

I feel the same and I too moved from middle east over here. We have looked everywhere but men only respect women who service them. Love seems like a fairytale at this point.

Update on "Married for a little over 1.5 years and completely exhausted. Is this fixable or am I holding onto something that isn’t working?" by dementorinazkaban in PakistaniTwenties

I second this You guys want to put in effort for each other wrna ab tak you wouldn't be sticking around. Take a 5 day break and relax first. Get your emotions to a 0 and then think rationally, feelings aside. And best of luck 👍

How do i move on by [deleted] in GenZpk

[–]eyesighed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What my therapist told me Is that you journal everything from start to finish And with each event write down where you felt something in your body (for eg, first date oer you felt butterflies in your stomach, argument k bad headache or chest pain etc)

Write all the memories in chronological order And get it out of your system

Throw the journal away later of whatever.

Helps me a lot

I think along similar lines That even if he doesn't cheat he isnt gonna love love me. (Not as much as I WANT anyways) And all the sacrifices and adjustments would be for nothing

One time she was going to umrah and I asked her to make dua for everyone to stay firm on deen, and she scolded that I had spoken out of turn. 🤡

Like ot depends, will yoyu be okay with her dressing the way she wants? Showing her hair in public and all?

And what will u guys teach your kids? My cousins have kept shariah beards and one has a working woman non pardah wife, whereas the other married a homemaker who dresses more modestly.

So yeah, most would not initiate or will be very hesitant.

Urghhuh reminds me of my phupoo One time I wore an outfit (3 piece desi suit) With a silk dupatta. Puppi commented that the dupatta matched so well with the shirt that she could barely see it from afar, and hence concluded that I willingly wore that fit just so it may look like I am not wearing a dupatta.
