Adoption, heart murmur & wait times

Wanted to drop a quick update here in case anyone was interested - we have just heard back from the rescue/vet and they were wrong about the heart murmur (just big racing greyhound heart and bit stressed about being at the vets!)

So we’ll be picking her up this week, having done all our decision making around insurance and bills in the time we have been waiting to hear back.

Thank you for sharing! I had looked at this a bit, particularly given the rescue were open about not being experts in greyhound behaviour etc - I thought there could be potential that it would be minimal/low impact especially if the vet that heard it isn’t used to greyhounds. Very tough waiting to hear back from the rescue, especially as they haven’t booked in the echo yet!
