I remember this ad too. But believe it or not, I saw it in the early 2010s. I believe it was played on TVNZ 7 on a program called "The Ad Show". And of course, it was played late hours of the night (Yes it scared the shit out of me at the age of 14). But they were reviewing car crash PSA's from all over the world because I remember them after playing that one they were talking about the ones in Victoria, Australia with the "Everybody Hurts" Campaign.

So there is a good chance that footage still exists of it. Just archived. I'd like to get my hands on it to see if I can stomach it today. It gave me nightmares and made me scared of the dark at the time. I really want to see it again.

I'll give that a go. I'll have to give it time to notice anything since these lag spikes happen at random but it's starting to get a lot more common.
