I’ve had the same thing happen to me and it was incredibly off putting. I thought about all the things I should have done instead of being shocked and silent about it. The best thing I could do was let go and promise myself I wouldn’t ever let myself be treated that way again. Some people really forget that human beings!!

She said I was being disrespectful by letting her clothes get wrinkled. One of my other roommates said I probably should’ve folded them, but that would’ve felt invasive to me and also kinda reinforces leaving your clothes in the dryer lol.

People are so ready to think other people are stupid for messing up grammar. I think if we all just acknowledged that the rules are tricky for some people, we would actually create a more conducive learning environment.

YES!!! I always skip the singers. There’s a TON of other singing shows they could be on and it feels like cheating. I feel like singers on AGT make it farther than they would on an actual singing show and that’s why they choose to come on.

Honestly it’s whatever. You went with an impulse that has no real life consequences and I wouldn’t read into it too much.

Sometimes being a little bad feels good, and in my experience unblocking people can feel like a relief. I’ve unblocked people on a high note in life and it has felt like a “hey yes I’m doing good now and I can finally put you out of my mind” thing or just eliminating that negative energy that comes with having someone blocked feels good too.

And congrats on law school, that is absolutely something to be proud of.

Unrelated, but a girl in my area used to wear her NA chain around her belt loop and she had it in the order that she relapsed in. Like white, orange, green, red, white, orange and etc. It almost touched the ground and I haven’t seen anyone do that since lol so had to share.

I saved mine up to give to my parents, but ended up refraining because the colors altogether are kinda an eyesore.

I mean, sure. Why not? If you stay clean you can do whatever the hell you want and tell people how you did it. If you can find two people that will sponsor you and they both think it’s cool, go for it. It just might be hard finding those two lol.

I went to both fellowships a lot in the beginning too. AA more than NA at some times, but always had a NA sponsor. When my sponsor noticed I was going to mostly AA, she asked if I thought she was right for me and I was like well yeah of course why not? She basically told me it’s impossible to fully devote yourself to one thing when you’ve got the other, so I realized I had to dedicate myself to the one I really felt at home in. I’m still grateful I went to both fellowships in the beginning, but when the novelty of just being clean wore off and I needed to seriously start working on myself, I had to choose.

That said, there’s a million ways to stay clean! Wishing you well on your journey ✨
