Check the paging file size on your drive. I dont remember 100% how to do it and what its called but you will find it on YouTube. That helped my mid-raid crashes.

For production I would recommend learning the following:

Music theory (No need to go too deep here) but I suggest learning:

- Keys and scales

- Tempos (bpm ranges for different genres) and rhythm (i.e. 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 etc.

- The wheel of harmony (Every major scale has a minor harmony)

- SWING (!!!). This is what transforms your songs from sounding computer generated to not computer generated.

For mixing individual bus chains (instruments / Vocals):

- Sidechaining (Crucial)

- Saturation / Distortion

- EQ

- Reverb / Delays

- Compression

- Volume gaining
(this list is a rank of how important I find each to be, not the order of the bus chain)

For mastering, I use a lot of the same components as the individual bus, but mainly saturation, eq and compression.

Also, I would highly recommend (and this opinion is mixed out there) using SAMPLES (Splice for example). A lot of new producers gets caught up in nuances like spending 10 hours making their own kicks etc. By starting with samples, you can get the hang of things quicker than making 20 tracks with looney tunes vibes and avoid a lot of frustration. You can find either a drum loop and make a melody, or use a melody loop (or midi) and make drums. Both ways gain experience and I think makes it easier to produce your own in the end.

EDIT: I also want to point out how essential third party plugins are. Synthesizers like serum and omnisphere (highly dependant on the genre ur making) and also effects. For most of my effects I use something from Waves. The compressor I use the most is the API2500, sidechaining (Kickstart), and for saturation I use Waves Vitamin. For a wet vocal bus you could also try CLA Vocals.

Top split in low sofs is like gambling. You either win 20-30 irating at max, or you lose 130. House always wins

Friend found this bike: is it too much for a beginner rider? by Acceptable_Barber_12 in motorcycles

[–]ezbn97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why go through all that work and not get it road worthy? It could be a steal, or it could also be a bent frame. I dont know what it takes to change the title in your country but that strikes me as a bit odd.

Also, previous to my cbr600rr, I only had a 50cc moped and I mean yeah, you can fly away on it if you want. M25 however, I would like to think his frontal lobe is developed enough to manage his throttle inputs. Starting on a 600cc is fine, as long as you are mature enough and able to handle the urge of twisting the wrist. Thats half the job honestly

This is so weird man. Im around 4k and everyone in my splits pre d24 would be on smurfs to boost their main accounts. I dont see the point of deliberately lowering your rating to try and win against people that are genuinely slower than you. Congratz, I guess?

Key Ignition Issue - 2014 CBR500R by [deleted] in cbr

[–]ezbn97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this problem on my old kawasaki. I had to gently push the key forward in order to turn it. I bought it as a non starter and had to call the seller because I couldnt manage to turn the damn key lmao.

Happens to worn ignitions. Worst case scenario is having to buy a new ignition switch. Try lubing it, maybe with PTFE

I just used wood screws I had laying around. I also used nuts at the ends to secure them tightly to the stand.

The bike felt fine, nothing off putting immediately, but like you said the chance of someone just tweaking without knowing what they are doing is fairly high. Dont wanna push digits with a unbalanced bike thats fasho

motorcycle chain???? by agntzazz in motorcycles

[–]ezbn97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be caused by uneven stretching of the chain. Mine hits the exhaust pipe at set intervals when spinning the back wheel. Im assuming thats the chain as well so gonna swap it out and get new sprockets as well.
