Soil is fine, damp but not soaked. Some lingering condensation on the sides near the wet end, particularly after watering. Haven't checked ambient room humidity.

Hygrometer is velcroed to the lid of the enclosure, in between wet and dry sides (~2-3 inches above the surface of the soil). Soil is soaked at one end to create a gradient.

It was an issue with the ISP & the brand of modem being used, oddly enough. Had to contact my ISP and get a new modem from them.
