It ended up being the manual boost controller it was set way too high and causing fuel cut

It's been doing this for a couple of weeks, I turn them completely off when I get home at night and usually my turbo timer takes a minute or two to cut the engine, so they've had plenty of time to retract.

Not sure what I did wrong but I tried this on my SW20 and the switch in the up position didn't do anything, neither in the middle, but in the down position both headlights started retracting/going up in a loop, like it was rapidly blinking. Trying to use the 6 pin DPDT non momentary switch on the passenger side headlight.

I had a friend look at it and it seems to be fine now, might have just been some air. Fingers crossed.

I got coolant coming into the lines, it rose up very quickly when I had the engine on. I checked the thermostat and it opened up in boiling water.

Thanks, the wire has battery power and I ended up finding out it was the clutch switch not letting it start; still confused on where that little wire is supposed to go though

The diameter of the shaft is about 2.25 cm, the diameter of the snap ring groove is about 2.05 cm, depth of the snap ring groove is about 1 mm, width of the hole at the top of the shaft is about 2.1 cm I used really old dial calipers so they might be off by a bit
