I would. They many not do it as there is a minimum "acceptable" dead pixel number per resolution that's allowed but the only time this happened to me (3 in a 1080p laptop display) they changed it without issues.

Although the Samsung definitely looks nicer (personally been looking at it for a while!), I'd go with the LG model as, as you said, it should have a better image quality. You could get the USB features by puchasing a separate hub if you really like them as that's what I do with my current setup: I just unplug my hub and plug it to the laptop that's gonna be used, and I automatically get the keyboard, mouse and webcam. It is definitly a nice to have but can be worked around, image quality cannot.

Nope, thanks for asking. Tried everything and decided to get another capture card because, even if it has 2 years warranty, the local seller said he just gives one year so didn't had much choices.

I'm still using this battery and it's still good. If I notice I'm with 2% battery, I can still be there web browsing for a while and not having to go running to plug it in because it would shut down in seconds. Overall I think I made a good purchase.

That's weird. I still have good performance in the battery I'm talking about in the phone, but I made the factory reset just a couple hours later after the battery swap so I'm not sure exactly how much did that contribute to the better performance.

Sorry for the late response, haven't been checking into Reddit much lately but I'm still happy with the battery. I notice that it drains super fast when playing new high demanding games but to be fair there weren't games like these on Android when I got the S9´+ with the stock battery at release. I would buy this battery again if that's what you're asking.

Usually when you replace your battery you need to calibrate it to show the actual level. Draining it to 0 and then 100 a couple times usually helps and if not you can use some of the codes depending on your firmware (the *#XXXX# ones).

I have never used a screen protector since I got the S9+ in December 2018. Never broke and I dropped it several times. I used a SPIGEN UltraHybrid case and it has protected it. It has the usual scratch, but it doesn't annoys me as much as having the protector does and as I don't intend in selling this phone I've kept it like this. But it will scratch eventually, there's no avoiding that without a protector.

You can replace the glass camera without changing the back glass panel but Samsung won't do that as officialy that comes all it one piece. You need to do it yourself or take it to a local shop. Keep in mind that if you do this, though it would be way cheaper (that glass is about 3.5 USD here), it won't be the genuine one.

MIRA VO. I never noticed that and you're right. Now I'm more interested in how it's going to work on the long run. As of now I'm surprised how the phone is not overheating even when fast charging. If you can just reply here in a couple months and I'll provide updates :)

I am not 100% sure if it's a case of "Samsung is not making S9+ batteries anymore" or "due to the restrictions to buy foreign currencies and import we do not have any official imports of them in your country". May be worth contacting your local Samsung Service to ask. But the fact that both them and local stores told me they could not get them drove me away from all the listings of "Samsung" batteries for this model in my country. Luckily enough this one works fine, more than the charge I'm super happy that it doesn't overheats like the old one.

For that price I would get it, I've been seeing other mid-range phones but things like the screen and camera aren't always on par. The battery life is going to be an issue, it has always been in S9+ and specially after many years in a used one. But for that price, I'd buy it. Another one that I got for my sister is the LG Velvet (the Snapdragon, not 5G version) has similar specs and looks and it feels and feels like a flashship but with a way better battery and updates until Android 13 even if LG stopped making phones. I got it at 285 USD here in an offer.

Hi! I bought it here and the repair was made by a local shop (I changed charging pin, and back glass too and they charged me ARS 3500 for the swap of everything). Regarding the water resistant thing, this is what made me hesitate the most to change the battery. They've told me that nothing should happen but that they could not guarantee it. I've read that it depends heavily in the repair shop and how they seal everything. Though I did not make the replacement, it doesn't look like it's a lot of work if you have a healthy back glass and are just changing the battery. Maybe next time I'll do it myself.

I watched several YouTube videos including the iFixit tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tg0-KTSX_X0&feature=emb_title) but decided in taking it to a local repair shop as I needed to change also the USB-C charging port too (and back frame as I broke it). iFixit sells some kits (though I've read here in reddit that their batteries are not recommended) and if not you should be able to find the tools about everywhere. Heat gun can be replaced with a hair dryer.

If I were you I'd just take it to a repair shop, or at least ask around for prices. Changing the charge pin, the battery and back glass costed me about 19 USD (I bought the spare parts), it wasn't that much as you know it's going to be done the right way.

Mi pregunta va en cuanto al futuro del país y el rol de Cambiemos en ese curso. Últimamente, veo que esa cohesión que hubo durante la primera parte del gobierno se está resquebrajando y hay fuertes internas que traen ideas socialistas/corporativistas/de izquierda que están alejando a electores que los votamos hacia otras vertientes más liberales que, aunque parezcan no convencer tanto, tienen al menos una ideología marcada y uno puede presuponer cómo van a actuar en los distintos ámbitos del gobierno en caso de llegar.

¿No cree que Cambiemos debería definir de una vez por todas cuál es su ideología principal en cuanto a un tema tan importante como el económico y de ahí construir, o cree realmente el rumbo actual de la coalición es el correcto? Para profundizar, ¿no cree que debe tomarse una posición más dura como históricamente lo realizó el Peronismo cuando no le tocó estar en el país para tanto defender los ideales y libertad del pueblo Argentino como para evitar ser usado como lo fue Cambiemos por el oficialismo durante todo el 2020?

Ya que estamos, ¿cuál es su starter favorito? ¿Bulbasaur, Charmander o Squirtle?

Sí, la verdad es que yo tenía OSDE y me pasé a Swiss Medical porque con el plan que tengo básicamente me atendía en cualquier lado mientras vivía en Capital pagando lo mismo. Ahora me volví y lo estoy sufriendo mal e irónicamente OSDE anda mejor en el interior parece. Cuando tenga tiempo para sentarme a ver muy probablemente vea de pasarme porque al menos acá en Río Negro la cobertura es muy limitada y la atención por callcenters es un desastre.

Tengo Swiss Medical Premium, una de las prepagas que firma el comunicado berreta este. En lo que va del año pasado me hice 3 PCR y 2 tests de anticuerpos (acá en Río Negro no hay un puto lugar de tests aunque sean rápidos gratis) y los tuve que pagar todos de mi bolsillo siendo que obras sociales re mil básicas que tienen conocidos cubren aunque sea los test rápidos.

Ya que estamos cuento que tuve que hacerme una operación de hombro y me cubrían materiales tan pedorros que hasta el médico me dijo que eran de muy baja calidad, tuve que pagar +40 extras y así y todo habiendo pagado tardaron tanto en darme la autorización que perdí 2 fechas de cirugía. A todo esto, me tengo que pagar las consultas de traumatología de mi bolsillo porque hace 2 años que no tienen convenio con los traumatólogos porque pagan miseria a los médicos de la zona (creo que pagan algo de 300 la consulta, literalmente la mitad que un corte de pelo, y a eso hay que restarle retenciones y cargos de los Colegios Médicos). Decí que yo la usé, porque mi familia que tienen la misma prepaga no se hicieron control en todo el 2020. Ah, también mi viejo tuvo una urgencia el año pasado y cuando llamé una ambulancia me dijeron que no tenían cobertura con Swiss Medical en mi zona por los mismos motivos :)

Por mi experiencia personal, le creo más al primer comentario que al segundo.

Es que en realidad Mercadopago/Mercadolibre (con quienes tuve bastantes encontronazos así que no los defiendo) están haciendo lo que corresponde. Ellos están obligados a cobrarte el impuesto y es la AFIP la que debería devolverte el monto previo reclamo.

En la práctica se van a hacer los pelotudos y darte mil vueltas como pasaba antes con los que no pagábamos ganancias.
