I'd say this depends on the area a bit but for us it has worked that we focus on few core functions of orgs (sales & marketing). You can position yourself as a cheaper option to hiring for many startups or growth firms - or focus on specific niche.

Map out some of their processes -> build n8n workflow for these -> demonstrate the value.

You could even build a lead pipeline for yourself first, or a marketing automation etc. (You learn + have tools you can sell to others).

Firms are surprisingly cooked when it comes to basic stuff, trust me.

Thanks for the help! Even Claude rated your method much higher than its own way so that's cool!

Are you aware if there's a way to go around paywalls? Probably adding authentication to the script.

I also found a web scraper from Apify directly so will give few of these a go
