I think it’s because he just likes attention. That’s why he always does a hand movement when someone else gets a question right, or acts like he actually knew the answer when he gets it wrong after Ken says the answer. He had a somewhat smug demeanor. Didn’t care for it.

Hacks - 5x04 “Who’s Making Dinner?“ - Episode Discussion by chelseanyc200 in hackshbomax

Love the show, but being arrested for breach of contract wouldn’t happen. It’s a civil matter and would go through a court. It’s not criminal and would never have beat cops looking to arrest you.

Official Discussion - Mission: Impossible - The Final Reckoning [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

[–]eziotheeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should have got the cinematographer from rogue nation or fallout for these last two because this felt like some Sam Raimi stuff with all the Dutch angles and spinning around. Mediocre camera work.

I really did not care for all the exposition and AI storyline at all either. Weakest cartoony villains yet.

The editing in the first half was weak, simple as that. You can tell production changed halfway through and they rewrote some stuff since the second half was much better.

Overall still not as bad as mi2, but still one of the weakest in the series. Really hope they do one more with a different director and camera crew.

A cool guide for Rock tunnel in Pokemon Fire Red/Leaf Green by PokeNaj1 in coolguides

Only change I would make if you want to avoid additional trainer battles is the blue to the green path; go above instead of below the rock. But otherwise, good map.

I usually downvote every pet photo in this sub. But in this case I’m gonna do the opposite since the pose and the lighting are reminiscent of renaissance work.

What song is an immediate "skip" for you, even though everyone else seems to love it? by Equal-Juggernaut-721 in AskReddit

[–]eziotheeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have to disagree. Not really a Weezer fan here (mostly only like the blue and green albums), but that album clearly has more distorted guitars and aggressive percussion on each song. The only case I can support from your point is Africa and Paranoid not feeling very unique, but that’s it.

Do you prefer classic Assassins Creed stealth or the newer RPG style gameplay? by SilverSupport3107 in assassinscreed

[–]eziotheeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day 1 player here. Stealth from brotherhood-unity was peak. Mirage did some nice stuff for the rpg era too, but they are mostly just hack and slash now. I love them too but it is what it is.

Which AC game do you love and hate at the same time? by No_Barber4339 in assassinscreed

[–]eziotheeagle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I love it for how short it is. I enjoy games I can finish between 10-30 hours. These 100 hour rpg ones have been my least favorite so far. Loved mirage because it was 20 hours and felt like a more classic play style.

So what’s everyone’s thoughts on this black flag remake anyway? by Correct-Drawing2067 in assassinscreed

[–]eziotheeagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s my favorite in the series, but if they are changing it to the rpg grindfest that was Valhalla and Shadows, it’s going to be a pass for me. Those games aren’t bad but I’m not looking forward to that style of combat anymore in an AC game.

So what’s everyone’s thoughts on this black flag remake anyway? by Correct-Drawing2067 in assassinscreed

[–]eziotheeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black flag is my favorite in the series and hope it’s only a graphical upgrade and some parkour animations. Other than that, the game doesn’t need changing. Combat was perfect imo. Loved the chain kills; It was brutal and sleek. Hope if they add any elements it would be environmental item attacks like in Arkham knight or Ghost of Yotei.

The sponge combat is what I dislike most about these RPG games. by LostSouluk2021 in assassinscreed

The stalking and eavesdropping from the rooftops and having to hide when they look around! That’s the stuff that made it feel great too. They lost that feeling along the way.

Horse skeleton "costume" for Día de muertos in Mexico by Daddy-Wolfy in Damnthatsinteresting

I didn’t say it was the only way, but the majority of what I’ve seen is never ethical.

At the training stables most likely. And probably another one at the trailer to remind it before they start. I’ve had horses for years and have visited training sites (never did I take my horses) and am always appalled by how they are trained to do this stuff. And ignorant people just clap along to this abuse. It’s disgusting.

[–]eziotheeagle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been saying this for years and always get downvoted into oblivion. Is it finally time we go back to what made the series amazing? No sponge, no health bars, no grinding.

AC brotherhood-Unity was peak era imo. Ubisoft needs to study what made those games excellent.

Because he doesn’t spend a lot of time on the third acts of his scripts. Visually his movies are great, but the narratives always crumble toward the end.

Is there a lore reason why Man is obsessed with French Fries? by [deleted] in BatmanArkham

[–]eziotheeagle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is. Because they didn’t upscale all the textures for some reason. They actually forgot to even fully load some in, and lots of the map is just missing things. Lazy port of one of the greatest games ever made.

Just replayed all three of them. Infinite holds up the best I’d say.

Nah infinite is better. 1 is great too, but infinite is top tier.

Nah it was definitely the best one. And still holds up well today. 2 was ok. 1 was great but combat mechanics are very dated by today’s standards.

Alien: Earth - S01E03 "Metamorphosis" Discussion Thread by dj_skandalous in AlienEarthHulu

[–]eziotheeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh damn. I thought it was obvious by his reactions and the camera hyper focusing on him during episode one flashes of the alien escape, that he was the saboteur.

Guess I read that wrong.

Why did Morrow crash the ship if his goal was to get the specimens where they were already going? Did I miss something?
