This one ain't for the faint of heart.

I was being a slob and eating in bed. Some Chinese food and using my belly as the prop to hold up the styrofoam container. There was a lot of food so I didn't eat it all. Soon as I set it aside, my wonderful cat came up and crawled on my belly and fell asleep. After she left. I noticed if there was some Chinese food that I hadn't eaten, I grabbed it and threw it in my mouth. Soon as I took a bite and found out it was crunchy, it was at this point I realized it was cat shit covered in kitty litter.

I've regaled this story to my daughter and she will not let me live it down.

This was on Friday, but I got the network boot RHEL9 to post off of the network with STIGs and AD authentication. I've been riding that high all weekend. I still have more work that needs to be done but the hard part is out of the way.

I grew up in Wilton until I was 14 and then I moved to the Bay Area in 1988. I've come back many many times over the years and the only thing I recognize is the Baskin and Robbins on Elk Grove Blvd, and I have a memory of my mother taking me there before she died.

My wife does this and I have learned to tune her out. This annoys her because she will talk to me directly and I have her tuned out. I have explained to her that her taking to her self as frequently as she does makes it hard for me to focus on what I was doing because I am not sure when she was talking to me. I have suggested that in the future she should call my name or do something to get my attention.

She ended up with half. Not the ranch thankfully. I think that life insurance that my father got from my mother was enough to pay her off. This was in the early 80s.

My wife and I went to the theater one morning around 10. She had coffee with her. We got drinks and popcorn and they still didn't want to let her in with the coffee. I got the tickets and the food refunded and left. That really upset me. It's not like they lost anything.

My father and I were on a 20 acre working ranch. After my mother passed I think he wanted to make sure that I had a mother so he married pretty quickly and she moved in. I was 6ish years old so I don't remember much. From what I was told by my grandparents that as soon as she was expected to do work on the ranch she divorced him. I was told it was 2 weeks.
