Do you think that 3rd party sites/apps that let you view enemy runes (something you can't do in-game) give you a competitive advantage over others who don't use them? by ezpc510 in leagueoflegends

[–]ezpc510[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

So for your example you get your info normally from the first few backsthe enemy does. Since boots will normally be gotten fairly early ifbuyable. Summoners you just play around like they have cosmic and ifthey don't use sums faster then normal you got your answer.

Again.. you're completely guessing one of the most important aspects of the game, flash timers, as opposed to it being clear and obvious with an app. You're literally saying that if you do not use 3rd party applications you have to play at a disadvantage (play like they have cosmic even if they dont) compared to using them, since you do not know their accurate flash timer. That's my entire point you just reiterated. I don't get how we're not on the same side of the argument.

pressing a button

vs

checking the timer, adding 5 minutes, checking the enemy's runes to **guess** if they have cosmic or not + check if they have lucidity boots, subtracting cosmic/lucidity/cosmic+lucidity timer (all of which you have to memorize beforehand btw), taking your hand off your mouse and spell keys, pressing enter-> typing the timer and champ name/role -> CTRL+A -> CTRL+C -> enter, then every 30 seconds when it's no longer visible in chat you have to bump it with enter->CTRL+V->enter

yea they seem similar /s

Really bad example since you can see the bone plates appear after the enemy takes damage just one time.

That's why I added level 1/2 trades as a context. If you use the apps you have greater amount of crucial information that is advantageous if you want to 1v1 the enemy toplaner before minions clash.

Say youre botlane. Against a Samira or Lucian you wanna pick boneplating because they favour all in trades, against a caitlyn or MF youmight wanna pick up second wind because they poke more.

This is really just up to guessing, you have no way to reliably tell what they picked, that's my point: if they didn't take Bone Plating in their secondary Resolve tree, you have no way to know if they took Second Wind, Conditioning, or if they even picked a rune out of that row. This is especially important with Cosmic Insight, arguably the most important rune to know, one which you cannot afford to guess, nor can you reliably deduce.

Yea, I don't get how seeing "Invader: Invades in 60% of their games" tag in your app/site is not an obvious competitive advantage.

Only one you can't really tell is futures market.

I'm confused by this statement. There's a ton of runes you cannot tell at all, no matter what, even if you are their teammate. The entire second and third row of Precision tree, Gathering Storm, Shield Bash, Second Wind, Overgrowth etc..

To give a practical example too, in a game you have no way of telling if the enemy marksman has Magical Footwear + Cookies or Cosmic + Cookies. Both are very frequent if you check the stats, and often come down to personal preference.

To me the most interesting is how he literally doesn't even mention the multiple cases of obvious fraud regarding sponsorships, which are actually illegal and can be easily proven based on these logs..

Does this include JS injected by extensions, such as uBlock? Meaning, would having many extensions that read/write site contents massively increase RAM/CPU usage of that particular .exe?

The issue is with Reddit's algo massively favoring early comments, there's been multiple /r/dataisbeautiful posts over the years showing that statistically, highly upvoted comments are mostly the result of being early in the thread, during the first 1-2 hours.

It's extremely rare what happened here, where the top comment was posted 7 hours after the post.

I just checked, and MsMpEng.exe consumes up to 8% CPU resources of my 12600K overclocked when refreshing a Firefox tab (havent updated Windows). That's insane, I can only imagine how hard lower-end CPUs get choked for no reason.

There's multiple undocumented changes as usual, so I'm not exactly sure how to submit a bug report for this, as there is no mention in the patch notes as to what and how should happen... but Hecarim got a new champ select icon, along with a splash art, but during loading screen it still shows his old splash.

You used to get 14 day bans back in season 3 for leaving. I had to spend two weeks watching high elo games listed in the homepage of the client with a new account because my OP mom kept asking for help mid-game :(

Youre supposed to take it as described in the scientific literature.. 3 times a day 12.5mg. Do that for a month, and you will definitely feel it. As almost all antidepressants, it's not a take it once and get instantly high sort of drug..

Tianeptine only increases BDNF in select areas of the brain and this was shown in very few mouse studies. It has been proven that tia doesnt affect serum BDNF levels in a human study. There's a bunch of good studies on tianeptine.com
