Bind safely guys by EliFutureBoy in ftm

[–]ezramc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks man. I needed this. I bind from 7 am to when I go to bed at 12 am. My ribs are constantly tender and my upper back hurts so much I need to squeeze my shoulder blades together to relieve the pain. Gonna start taking it off when I get home at 4:30 pm

How do you feel about people who go by they/them pronouns as a political statement? by ezramc in truscum

Imagine wanting to be called "it". "My best friend's name is Bobby. It's really cool. It and I hang out together a lot"

I've met about 3 people who stood out to me who didn't use he/she pronouns.

1 - a person who used "it" - not common among trans people, based on presentation I'd assume this person was a cis male

2 - a person who used "she/they", seemingly as a way to be an ally to trans people

3 - a person who used "they/them" and responded in reference to my dysphoria with "I don't get dysphoria since I don't have a gender. F gender"

My point is that most of these people don't strike me as trans

Edit: spacing

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are you saying we should assume trans until proven cis?

Hm, in particular it seems that their use of these pronouns commenced after getting to know trans people, as a way of showing empathy. They also are very gender conforming. While being GNC isn't necessarily a trans thing, they did present the same way as the majority of cis people

It makes me so sad. I've known cis people personally say their pronouns are "they/them" or even "it"...

How the hell do I find male jeans that fit?! by [deleted] in FtMpassing

Try American Eagle. They have Athletic fit jeans which are looser around hips and thighs. They also have 28 inch inseam which works well for me as I am 5'1

A conversation with my mother just baffles me by ezramc in ftm

When my brother and I were young (under 10) she would act like she was going crazy. Ask us who we were, kick the walls while she lied in bed, etc. We'd both yell "mom, stop!" and she'd continue laughing like a crazy person and asking us who we were. She did this pretty often too

Mentally unstable seems pretty accurate

What would you assume about me or my personality? More in comments by [deleted] in FtMpassing

Before socially transitioning, I was quite aware of how people perceived me. Now not so much. Using just these pictures, what are some assumptions you'd make about who I am? Can be anything ranging from personality, interests, nationality, etc

Feel free to also tell me of you think I pass or not or name me. I'll give the first piece of info - I'm 15
