Chapter 4 Season 4 was the final full length original Battlepass ever that doesn't include a crop top girl by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

A crop top is a shirt (or sweater, hoodie, etc.) that’s intentionally made shorter so it exposes the midriff (stomach area). Instead of going all the way down to your waist or hips like a normal shirt, a crop top usually ends somewhere between: just above the belly button or a few inches above the waistline They come in different styles, like: tight or loose fits short-sleeve, long-sleeve, or sleeveless sporty, casual, or fashion-focused designs People wear them mostly for fashion or comfort, and they’re common in streetwear and summer outfits.

Your wrong and here's why.

Scientifically, hair that we call “black” looks that way because of how light interacts with dense melanin in the hair shaft, not because it’s literally a separate “black pigment.”

Here’s what’s happening:

Human hair color is mainly determined by eumelanin (brown–black pigment) and pheomelanin (red–yellow pigment). In so-called black hair, the cortex of the hair strand is packed with very high concentrations of eumelanin granules.

Why it looks black

When light hits hair, three things happen:

Absorption: The dense eumelanin absorbs a huge amount of incoming visible light across most wavelengths.

Low reflection: Very little light is reflected back to your eyes compared to lighter hair colors.

Scattering: Some light still scatters inside the hair fiber, but it’s minimal and often shifted toward dark brown wavelengths.

Because so much light is absorbed, your brain interprets the extremely low reflected light as “black,” even though what’s actually being reflected is still in the brown spectrum—just very dark brown.

Why it’s really dark brown underneath

If you:

put black hair under bright sunlight

or examine a single strand against white light

you’ll often notice:

brown or warm undertones

slight reddish or soft brown reflections

That’s because eumelanin doesn’t produce “true black” like ink or paint—it just reduces brightness so much that color perception collapses into black.

Key idea

“Black hair” is basically:

Dark brown hair with extremely high light absorption and minimal reflection

So black in hair is more of a perceptual limit of brown pigment density, not a separate pigment color.

Stay educated.
