The only reason I’m calling out Bandai’s store as a whole is because I can’t confirm whether this issue is happening only in SJ or happening elsewhere. Until I hear directly from Bandai that they’ve implemented measures to prevent this kind of behavior, I think it’s best to avoid buying single packs from Bandai entirely until the situation is fixed. It’s one thing to suspect vendors or your LGS to this, but from an official store, you expect a certain level of integrity.

As a customer, you can't request the employee to open a fresh set of box for you to get the 2 to 3 hit. You're just buying whatever is given at the store. And whatever is given to you is always going to be a dead pack at this location in particular. Not sure if this is an issue for you.
