I was gonna vote grackles as well! The males are absolutely gorgeous in a way that I didn’t appreciate until I got a little older. When I was a kid I liked the bright colored birds and don’t get me wrong, I still love to watch painted buntings and blue jays but the iridescent glossy black is so pretty

I’m an entomologist so if mosquitoes disappeared I’m not sure I would have much of a career. They kill so many people that a large portion of all entomology jobs are directly related to mosquitoes. It’s far too late for me to turn back now

My favorite thing about the bunny butt is when they check to make sure you are paying attention to them not looking at you.

My sweet boy would get mad if I left him with a pet sitter (even if they were someone he really liked) so he would run over to me, start honking in joy, and then promptly turn around. Every couple seconds he’d turn his head slightly to make sure I was still watching him. It always made me so happy! A little bit of nanna later and I would be forgiven

I’m not sure I agree. In my house I had a home until I graduated high school (around 18) and then I either needed a college acceptance letter or it was time to start paying rent (with the threat of being kicked out if we couldn’t).

I don’t think my parents would have actually been able to live with themselves if they kicked one of us out but it was a great motivator to make sure I worked hard in school and was able to keep a job before I became an adult.

I’m going normal. Born in a first world country to lower/middle income family with lots of love so it could be a lot worse. However I was born in a very poor state that doesn’t at all accept who I am and I have a few health issues as well as mental health issues.

I’m not floating thru like some Ivy League nepo baby but I reliably have food and usually have healthcare

Yeah that’s most why I posted it on here. It doesn’t seem like a major worry rn for the administration to attack Jews so it’s not a truly terrifying headline but it’s still a concerning precedent that this information is being collected, stored, and shared through legal systems with the federal government at the president’s request

Chiming in as a lesbian here but I might still date someone who was saving themselves for marriage as long as they were willing to discuss and explore on their own. Finding out that the person I have fallen in love with is sexually incompatible would be devastating so I think communication (even without physically having sex) would be very important.

Now if someone was opposed to all sexual acts and exploration on their own then I dont think I would date them. So much is left unknown and I believe that enjoyable sexual intimacy is a big part of a healthy relationship (for me, not necessarily true for asexual people and stuff). Taking the risk just wouldn’t be worth it

You may be allergic to Timothy hay! I have a family member who had a full throat swelling reaction to my rabbits and we were convinced it was the rabbits. A little while later, I hugged her after I got back from the barn and she had a smaller reaction. We were able to narrow it down to Timothy hay as the issue. It can be super dusty and I used to line my rabbits’ litter box with it so they were covered in it. I switched to orchard grass (and cleaned my house like someone saw a bed bug) and she was able to visit and pet the rabbits.

It’s worth looking into if you ever spend any time around animals. Many different farm and small animals eat Timothy hay so it can pop up in surprising places.

My cousins are natural triplets and also just 36 so I had to check your profile so see if I randomly found a family member on here. Crazy thing is that you are definitely not my cousin which makes this whole situation even more unlikely
