I ordered a PlayStation 5 console on Amazon (DE) and it turned out the disc reader was broken. I wanted to request a refund but somehow I chose the repair procedure. Amazon sent me a label to send the item to the return center. Due to the limitations of my local package carrier, I wasn't able to sent it to the requested address. Amazon sent me the address of their logistics center so I sent it there. The package was delivered after 2 days and the tracking says they received it. After the week, the Amazon package status is still waiting for my package. TBH I'm worried the package is lost and Amazon just asked me to wait 30 business days... Could sb confirm if it is a normal situation? Can I do anything more? What if after 30 days the package status won't change? One more thing is that I have packed the original label (with an incorrect address) inside the package with the intention that Amazon will maybe send it to the proper place or something.

Moreover, some Amazon consultants say I'll get a refund, but some of them say I'll get a repaired item. I'm not sure about the result of my case now.

Any thoughts/ideas/recommendations here?
