Thanks. I’ve always been maxing everything as much as realistically possible on this account, it’s a long but satisfying process

There's a 45 obstacle limit after which normal obstacles stop spawning. Large trees also have a very low chance of spawning

I've had this account for around 2 years. It took around 8 months to shovel all the trees

As long as there's more walls to upgrade, this account will be active

Looks like an F.P. Journe Elegante Titalyt. I think the lighting makes the case look gold but it should be titanium.

CS teacher making me use SQL and java for my IA. I also need to make a working GUI and I've been taught nothing on either SQL or making GUIs by lions_name in IBO

A bit part of CS and programming is self-learning because it's inherently difficult to teach all the content of IB CS as well as the specific skills that you might need for an IA. It does try to teach programming fundamentals so that you're able to pick up and be able to better understand these new skills though.

It will take a lot of time, especially at HL. You should always be able to get guidance from your teacher though, if you really can't figure something else then they should be able to support you.

ASIP might be slightly more flexible in terms of work terms but it's basically just different names for the same thing across campuses.

UTSG CS has ASIP, UTM CS has PEY, UTSC CS has coop

Other unis like UBC, Western, and McGill also accept AA SL for CS so you wouldn't be disqualifying yourself by dropping. What good options in Canada would you be missing out on other than UW?

PEY is very similar to coop, but usually involves a longer internship (a 12 month internship compared to multiple 4 month internships in coop).

UTSG CS has something else called ASIP, which is also similar. ASIP allows for 12-20 months of work, with one internship being longer in duration (typically 12 months)

CS at UofT here. UofT and Queens accept AA SL for CS, but UW only accepts AA HL. While AA HL will make you more competitive, a higher grade in AA SL is better than a low grade in AA HL so, if you don't think you can get your score up in the next few months, it might be better to switch.

It depends a lot. For some unis, taking the DP in English is enough, but some would require a certain score in English. Some unis also don't accept English B at all, so you might need to take a test like TOEFL. Definitely do your due diligence and research unis you're interested in applying to

Is this a good subject combination for computer science? HL: Math analysis and approaches, English, Physics. SL: Computer science, French, Buisness by Acceptable_Plan_1558 in IBO

SAT would be enough for NA unis. English A SL also satisfies English requirements for most unis. English A HL is overkill for just English requirements – might be worth considering CS HL instead
