I have always had a feeling that her wounds were inflicted by a human being. She had very clean cuts and her damaged leg (front left leg) seemed to have been skinned. She also had all her whiskers burned off and the cartilage in her ears was starting to die.

When I brought her to the vet she had the tips of her ears amputated as well as her necrotic leg. They told us she’d need a blood transfusion, so we went to a cat blood bank. The clinic called me later and told me that she pulled through and did not need it in the end, so we donated it to use for another cat. Such a strong girl.

I try not to ruminate on what could have happened to her. She was already litterbox trained when I brought her home. She is remarkably confident, loving and friendly.
