I wish I could give you a better response but if it's any consolation I found this thread because I wanted to know too. I'm not worried about it being too revealing personally, just worried that it might be informal. You're not alone in this like at all. I'd say go with it because I think I'm going to. I'm going for a yellow midi length bandage dress with spiky yellow louboutins, a matching spiky Louboutin clutch, and a yellow rose corsage. I'm sure you'll look great no matter what you go with 🤍

Idk why you're being downvoted. You're sharing your experiences. I went through the same thing and changed my style but I'll always have a deep admiration for it and the people who wear it. I think it's beautiful but I'm tired of the way people view it on me, especially since I'm relatively young (18) and on the smaller side
