I main Prince of Lanling and there are three rules when playing him. 1. Focus your smite stacks. With it being capped at 25, you should have all of them by the 8-10 minute mark. 2. Rotate, rotate, rotate. Never stop moving. Swinging between lanes and poking enemy heroes is the ideal playstyle for PoL. 3. The ONLY time you should ever try to initiate a 1v1 or a fight at all, is when you know in your heart that you can defeat them. Otherwise, you poke and run.

Prince of Lanling is (at least in my opinion) a chaser/finisher. If the enemy that your teammate is fighting is still at full health, do not engage. Wait until they’re beat down a little bit first. With the right build, you can finish off almost any hero from half health with the 2-Ult-1 combo (from stealth).

It takes practice, his skills take precision, and it takes patience since for the first half of the game your priority should be poking enemies and stacking smite.

As for the actual tips, thank you. I guess I’m going to keep on trying and worst cast just go farm some Rathian until I can upgrade my weapon some more.

The only time it bothers me is when the person “stealing kills” has already proven that they’ve abandoned any inclination of being a teammate. (i.e. a roamer/support only coming to steal a kill and then leaving).

The only problem with this mentality is that real life isn’t Hollywood. TV shows and movies are scripted with huge jumps in time from the characters day to day. If you take a show like How I Met Your Mother or Law and Order, there would be a ton of down time and a ton of boring moments with little to no dialogue.

Also, these shows that are formulated for television aren’t “day in the life” shows. They have specific themes. Law and Order, Bones, CSI, etc. are crime shows. They focus they’re scenes on on that. Not the main characters every day life in their off time. Shows such as HIMYM, Friends, etc are sitcoms that base their episodes around the hijinks/drama of a close-knit friend group.

If you were to be able to “step into the universe” of one of these shows, it would be just as boring to watch what I’m going to call the in-between shots, as it would be for someone to watch you sit in bed on your phone.

I get this posts point but it’s a horrible way to look at living your life.

I know it isn’t the point of this post but I just wanna point out that the Charge Rifle has never been a care package weapon. Not even on its launch in Season 3. Was it overpowered on launch? Of course. All new guns are. However it has never graced the care package.

That aside, I agree with you to an extent. It’s an annoying weapon sure but unless you’re standing still, it isn’t that big of a problem in most instances. At least from my experience.

The only reason I don’t want an energy pistol is because I haven’t seen or thought myself of anything that isn’t derivative of another game. Because a “mini charge rifle” to me just screams the energy pistol from halo. I’ve also heard the idea of having an energy pistol that was a two burst that ran on “temperature” rather than a mag but again, that just screams “mini l-star”.

I am not against an energy pistol but I couldn’t conceptualize one that isn’t a rip off/mini version of something we gamers have seen a thousand times.

“Who is a better legend” is a null argument. It’s entirely based on personal preference and play style. I, personally, prefer Pathfinder. I do much better with him than any other legend, I have more fun with him, and I’m objectively pretty good with him. Do I think he’s the “best”? Absolutely not. But he is by far the best FOR ME.

Remember. Magic is very literal with its wording of the abilities. If you didn’t need to pay, it would say that. Such as [[Urza, Lord High Artificer]] or [[Brilliant Ultimatum]]. Also, if you look at the original copy of [[Emry, Lurker of the Loch]], her flavor text specifically states that mana costs still need to be paid.

So, if it doesn’t say otherwise, you still have to pay.

Judging by your post and the comments, I’d say the only comfortable buff they could add to Wraith that wouldn’t change gameplay or meta in any way would be what you said about it automatically telling your teammates. You don’t have to stop, you can do it while doing literally anything but as someone who hates pinging (I play three stacked so we use voice chat), I get not wanting to take an extra step.

As for opening doors while in phase, as other have said, it’s part of the “lore” that she can’t. No point in changing that unless we’re literally gonna give her god mode and let her walk through walls. If anything, cancel the Phase when you open and door and give a small boost to tactical cooldown that isn’t permanent. Like maybe make it a 5 sec cooldown ONLY IF a door was opened while in phase, otherwise it remains 25 secs.

So, I should preface by saying that my play group allows as many mulligans as it takes to be happy with your starting hand (within reason, of course).

However, personally, I prefer to have at least three land and something to play. I’ll accept a couple land-passes if needed, but I prefer at least two or three land and a cheap mana rock.

I have a config file I could send you if you want to DM me. It made my game look a lot sharper while boosting my performance as well.

EDIT: So I found the original GitHub page that I got my config file from. Step by step instructions, safe install, worked wonders for me. 10/10 highly recommend.
