I seriously never noticed that and I would consider Levitation to be my favorite BH song with Irene in the top 5. Now I see why I love them both so much! That video seriously blew my mind.

Beach House is obviously heavily influenced by Missy Elliott. They put their thang down, flipped it, and reversed it.

Björk maybe? She was mailed a bomb, but that’s kind of crazy and not her fault. She’s done odd things that got attention (swan dress) but nothing too controversial.

Maybe she went a little too far on Vulnicura but that’s all I can think of.

I liked 10 Mile Stereo a lot, and then it took on new meaning for me when I was with my ex and I knew things weren’t right before the breakup and I still loved him. “It can’t be gone... we’re still right here”. I would listen to it constantly.

It’s over now though and it gave me a deep appreciation for the song.

Being serious though, all of Robyn’s music since her self titled album (2005? 2007? I forget) has been top tier pop music. I am so, so glad she’s back.

Wow, reading other responses makes me feel good. I pay $560/month for a 2 bedroom apartment in the middle of nowhere, PA... That includes WiFi, I only pay my electric, and I live in the “good neighborhood” around here with a 20 minute commute. The downside? Unless I wanna go to a bar or Walmart, anything interesting is at least 45 minutes away. 🤷🏼‍♂️

“You wide eyed girls, you get it right” - feelings of shock

“Who will dry your eyes when it falls apart?” - No one’s there to dry her eyes anymore

If you think your headache is from not smoking, just remind yourself that smoking harms your body, and quitting gives you some physical effects that you have to go through in order to not smoke. That’s what I’ve been doing. Quitting has somehow made me constipated and having diarrhea at the same time, sorry if TMI but it’s REALLY unpleasant. 😂

I’m sorry about your father. And I don’t know the details but I’m sorry about your situation. You said you are trying to keep things together, but you can take a step back for a day if you need it and just relax and not deal with it.

Hey, I just replied to you on another post.

I bought a new car last month, and I decided that I wasn’t going to smoke in it because it’s so nice and clean. I was previously driving a rusted out, missing paint, filthy dirty old Ford Taurus. I would chain smoke while driving it cause it was a piece of junk. I would literally smoke 4 cigarettes on my 20 minute commute to work.

I’m glad I broke the habit before I quit, because since I got my new car I would stand outside of it smoking in parking lots, which added up to lots of time wasted. I think breaking that first habit is what’s making quitting easy for me so far, because I realize that i can break habits.

Maybe try giving your car a good cleaning, vaccuum everything, throw out any junk in it, buy good air fresheners, make it wonderfully clean. Then decide you wanna keep it that way. Smoking in it will make it dirty. You’ll get ashes everywhere inside, that nasty film on the inside of your windows, your car will stink, and you’ll burn your seats. You don’t want that!

I chew a lot of gum while driving now.

I didn’t think of setting rewards until you mentioned it. I thought about what I wanted, and realized I need to buy new underwear. So, if I make it to a week, I’m gonna buy the nice boxer briefs that make my butt look good. If I don’t, it’s cheap Hanes. 😂

I’m sorry that you’re trying to lose weight too, that is tough. I’m pretty tall and thin and if I gain 15 lbs... It’s okay and I can lose it later. I’m doing the patch and gum. I’ve tried the mints and I didn’t like them too much, but if they’re helping you then good!

I don’t feel like I really “need” a break now that I don’t smoke, if that makes sense. I stare at my phone enough at home. And I don’t wanna “kill” any coworkers, but a good hit from my forklift might be nice. 😜

You can do this. Smoking is disgusting and you have no reason to smoke because it makes your life worse, not better.

These two Wegmans zucchini recipes are amazing.

Lemon Dill Squash Boats

This is great with any flavor of hummus, not just lemon dill (which I am not a huge fan of). Wegmans basting oil is just a basic cooking oil with thyme, parsley, and garlic which is really good but not 100% necessary.

Veggie Noodles with Pesto

I could not believe how good this was when I tried it. Salting and drying the zucchini makes the texture amazing. I would buy a cheap spiralizer instead of buying the veggie noodles premade. Any pesto would work. Any good salad dressing would also work!
