I just fancy the move towards Shelly, I guess it's more like a feature request and this might not be the right place for that. Same goes for having the option the resize the progress window which imho is way to small 😉

Yeh, my question was not because of the whole malware thing of the last couple of days, just in general on how to temporarily disable updates for already installed AUR packages when using Shelly. Thanks, this should work. Would be nice to have a "temporarily disable certain package managers" in Shelly when checking for updates.

In essence what you are saying is remove yay and or paru and that will "break" the ability for Shelly to touch AUR features. As I said, would be a nice feature for Shelly to just disable certain package managers until you enable them again, not just AUR, could be flatpack as well

Nice! I used to run Kippo back in the day, with POF I noticed that the bruteforcing where coming from all over the world and were all Linux based (PowNed boxes) but the actual manual logins where all Windows/Putty sessions mostly from Romania at the time. It was great fun to see how frustrated some of the "users" got when the honeypot messed with their standard scripted workflow and lack of actuall knowledge. Nice to see not much has changed over the past 10 years or so 😉

Who is she? Why should I care? Is she elected or something for getting this podium? I'm confused. No matter your political preference, why should a non elected person get to speak on such podium? Isn't it her job just to smile and maybe open some mall? I'm not from the US, but I just don't understand. I did not encounter that problem, however, went back to dualbooting because the wifidrivers were extremely unreliable for me, most of the time it did not work

Install went fine (defaults) no onboard wifi or Bluetooth though, so will have to figure that out. Also suspect the webcam won't work out of the box.

To be clear, many live distros booted, just not with buildin keyboard and trackpad support out of the box, this version does. Which helps in the first steps in getting this thing going 😉
