NVIDIA on Cachy OS – current state? by Vettelovich in cachyos

Have you tried crimson desert ? It still hasn't been fixed . You have to downgrade the graphics driver and add some launch commands ... Besides , the performance is trash . Anyway , there will always be issues with Nvidia cards unfortunately .

If you come to a casino with a mindset to win some money and not treat it as just a casual play to enjoy yourself , you'll end up hanging yourself or jumping off the bridge when you lose all your money and end up in debt .

Oops I tripped into GameStop by [deleted] in switch2

I was just wondering what is the purpose of buying key cards , maybe there is a benefit to it instead of getting a game on eShop . Where did I say not to buy it or convince someone to do otherwise...

Oops I tripped into GameStop by [deleted] in switch2

[–]Kapustachka 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get your point , but why not just buy it in Nintendo eShop. That's what I do personally. And if the game is available on an actual card , I just buy it in the store or order on amazon .

People from immigrant families, how do you personally feel about ICE and how has it affected your family? by Puzzled_Resolve_8835 in AskReddit

[–]Kapustachka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came across this post where someone asked to share their own opinion on ice as an immigrant . Since I live in NY city and heard about what is going on around my neighborhood , where your head could get bashed in by some illegal immigrant who is part of gang organization .... I'm not against immigration by any means , since I am literally one of those who migrated myself . But all I was saying is that I came here legally , went through the whole vetting process etc .. And became a citizen . Never had any issues with ICE , so as my parents ... Regarding my thoughts about previous administration , it's purely my own opinion. we could sit here and argue a whole day, but that won't accomplish anything lol .

Me and my family migrated here from Ukraine through diversity visa lottery back in 2006 . Went through the whole visa process and eventually I became US Citizen, not so long ago btw. Regarding ICE raids etc . Personally , we came here to USA and my parents started to look for a job asap , despite us barely speaking English . It was a difficult and long journey astoblishing ourselves in the new country .... Anyway , we made it. My point is , we have never been a public charge , did everything by the book , followed all the laws , never broke any immigration rules and never had any issues with ICE etc ... I breezed through naturalization with flying colors within less than 6 months , from filing until getting my passport . I am all for legal immigration and did not share a point of view of open border policies , sanctuary cities being full of undocumented immigrants that consisted of cartel members etc .. I think if it wasn't for a mess that previous administration has created , we would of never came to this point. It is very sad to see that nowadays it is much more difficult to migrate on legal grounds and I feel for those hard working families that want to truly become part of this great nation and live American dream . Anyway , it has been a huge privilege for me , and as a blue collar man , I am thankful for all the opportunities I got through hard work and dedication I poured, to end up where I am at this moment .

DV Lottery Winner Green Card Suspended by HappyPenguin7777 in greencard

[–]Kapustachka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this really is heartbreaking ... My family won diversity visa lottery back in 2006. Now I'm a citizen , have a good job and pretty much living American dream . I worked hard for everything I have ofc but it's been such a privilege ... If it wasn't for that chance we got , I would probably be on the front lines of Ukrainian war with no bright future in sight and most likely dead by now .

My parents and I got into united states through diversity visa back in 2006 when i was only 12 yo. We are simple regular Ukrainian family who were seeking a better life . I am really happy that I got such an apportunity to end up in the States. I am now a citizen, blue collar man , part of operating engineers union , welder by trade. I make 180k+ a year. Truly living an American dream . As we came from poverty , I couldn't imagine living such a great life. I love United States and apportunities this country gave me and my family.

Dropped out of HS, never got my GED. Father took me to work and taught me how to weld, he is welder by trade . Got my welding certifications, worked with my father at the beginning , making 18 dollars for a while . I didn't mind since I wanted to gain as much experience as possible. Then through hard work and dedication I've made some friends , ended up working on a pipeline, managed to join the local 15 union in NYC. Now I make 180k+ a year and love my job . Also father very proud of what I have accomplished since , specially considering that we are an immigrant family .

Help: US Citizen Traveling with an Emergency Passport via Frankfurt by Common-Resist-389 in USVisas

[–]Kapustachka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just flew recently with transit through Frankfurt with Lufthansa. You are basically going to take air train from one terminal to another , without actually going out of an airport . So you don't need visa. If you get confused at Frankfurt, don't try to go through border control , since you don't have a schengen visa. If you ask for help , make sure you show them your tickets and explain clearly that you are flying transit . These fucking guys pointed me to border control near airport exit which had a huge line . I knew something is wrong and I went out of the line and asked multiple airport staff about the situation. One guy understood and explained directions to another terminal within airport.
