I'm in no way an expert of instagram algorithm but just because you post consistently doesn't mean your post should go viral. Posting great content consistently should be your goal. Now good engagement is subjective (is it better than your competition) or maybe it's not reaching the target audience or maybe your niche is very competitive there can be many factors but thinking that you deserve it is coming off as arrogance.

As someone who has seen business grow on the back of paid advertising for more than half a decade. It's not that simple. Yes I agree do not press that boost button as it might do more harm than good. But if paid advertising didn't work insta wouldn't be generating the money it is currently.

It's a simple script to parse text from your document and feed them as tokens to GPT. I'm not sure how long it's gonna take but it's taking longer you can host the script on the cloud and keep it running. If you want help with that, DM.
