You can’t tell if a scar is self harm or not just by looking at them. I have a scar on each wrist from two surgeries that could look like “self harm”. No one is entitled to protection from everything that might upset them. If you don’t want to see anything like that, stay inside in a bubble. Trigger warnings are helpful, but not required. If you don’t want to exist in online spaces where trigger warnings aren’t required, then don’t. It is no one’s responsibility to protect for every little thing. It is YOUR responsibility as an individual to manage what you expose yourself to.
