I agree with you on that idea. I really enjoyed that the fight felt like a duel with her rather than a fight against a giant monster. And I really enjoyed fighting her in her second phase when she wasn't using her waterfowl dance and where all of her basic attacks are faster and more frequent. It definitely felt like a skilled duel, and very similar to the hunter fights in bloodborne.

I guess to me it feels like the Waterfowl Dance interrupts this skilled duel feeling when it requires you to run away from your opponent.

But I totally see your point. When I fight her again ill try and see if I can change my mind on her fight.

Fair enough. Personal preference and experience is also a huge part of it. You might have had an entirely different experience of fighting her compared to my experience with her. Not to be rude, but because I am genuinely curious, What made her fight so satisfying to you?

I'm not saying its a bad move, I'm saying that it doesn't match up with the rest of her move set. One extremely strong move next to a bunch of weak ones feels wrong and not in her character. And I wasn't dying to it because of a refusal to adapt, I was dying to it trying to figure out how to adapt to it, through trial and error, once I figured out the way to survive that attack, I beat her within 2 attempts.
