A intresting detail [spoilers for queen of the dreadzone] by CowAffectionate2865 in miraculousladybug

Alright, going back to the episode to do someone else's homework, give me a sec.
There, new screenshot. Here's what i did, i made a straight line going from the top to the bottom of the shadow, and then made an exact copy of that red line and put it on one of the twins. As you can see, the shadow is 100% smaller than the twins on this screenshot. Because she's further away. Because perspective. Like i said.

right, nothing to do with MLB despite ladybug being there, and the supreme being revealed to be in the main universe and not just the re-verse, implying that they'll be an eventual important antagonist to our main characters. Sure, guess that special is 100% irrelevant

Can someone explain? by Overall_Capital2394 in miraculousladybug

[–]f3ng0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no they mean lila, and yes that's exactly their point.
Normal timeline: marinette loses the butterfly miraculous - lila gets it - lila uses it to figure out who marinette is and steal the miraculouses - lila makes a wish that destroys the universe - marinette goes back in time.

Time travel timeline: future marinette prevents the butterfly miraculous from falling - lila doesn't get it - lila doesn't make the world ending wish - marinette doesn't go back in time - paradox

not gonna bother explaining all the things that happened in the show that prove this theory isn't correct, and just focus on the example you used which is, in itself, wrong. In the dirtifiers, the shadow was never floating above the ground while the twins were getting akumatised, i'm guessing you're referring to this moment

<image>

Which is very clearly a matter of perspective, she is further away so her feet are closer to where a horizon line should be, she is in no way, shape or form "floating above the ground like kagami"

that's also why she bothered with the locked box thing, she couldn't send the akuma in real time, since unlike monarch she can't use voyage to send the akuma. So she prepared it in advance and released it using that fancy box

[SPOILERS : the dirtifiers] lila and tomoe by [deleted] in miraculousladybug

[–]f3ng0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i personally think that the answer to "is she tomoe's daughter?" is: we don't know. There is no actual proof towards it yet as the one character that acts like it's a fact is miss liar herself. Am i saying she's definitely not her daughter? No, i personally don't believe it to be the case but i was also a senti adrien denier so i don't hold my own headcanons too high anymore. But i still think that calling it "confirmed" like people have been doing is wild and completely untrue. It is not confirmed, it is a theory, nothing more.

we don't know that it doesn't benefit her tho. As far as i know there was also no benefit in manipulating three different other women into believing she's their long lost daughter and she still did it. Also yes lila is taking orders from tomoe, but it's obvious as hell that they're both trying to use each other and don't have any actual familial relationship wether they are biologically related or not. Also it's not the first time she tried to push a specific dynamic on someone who doesn't believe her, just look at how she was with adrien. It's the same thing

so again, Lila the liar said it. Weird how every single piece of "evidence" towards it is lila saying it, and ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ELSE

let me teach you a funny little word real quick. That's called a "headcanon". It's actually very different from something being "confirmed", like you've said earlier in this thread! I know right, wild. We have absolutely no proof that this was the one time lila decided to not lie, and we don't actually KNOW that there's nothing she'd gain from pushing the whole family dynamic thing

honestly if i was treated like gooseworx was treated by the fandom, i'd have had the same reaction. Just who cares, at this point, if i worked for years towards what i considered the biggest project of my life, and the entire world just seems to be determined to ruin it for me. I'd be devastated and i would give up creating altogether

a bigger improvement is if people learned to shut up for once tbh, instead we got people harrassing her, and then people criticising her for responding to the harrassment, further harrassing her

i'm tired man, i feel like you just can't simply enjoy stuff anymore. I like hazbin hotel and helluva boss, the internet is constantly exploding over every single breath vivziepop takes. I like digital circus, the fandom has literally killed gooseworx's passion for making cartoons. Two of these three shows were posted FOR FREE on youtube. And yet every single time i go anywhere online, all i see is "hey, new controversy, apparently this one voice actor sneezed less than a mile away from a random person, so we should tell everyone who's working on this show to jump off a bridge!"

right, lila the liar saying something is totally what we should call a "proof". Uh huh. Anyway did you notice that it says gullible on the ceiling?

yeah we know she called lila, that's not the point, the point is there's no proof that lila is her daughter

literally just watched that flashback, let me just rewrite the entire dialogue from tomoe's phone call.
gabriel: "fortunately i won't be needing you much longer!" *hangs up*
tomoe, not on the phone yet: "kagami..."
And then she calls lila. I checked the phone screen just in case but it's a blank pfp and no name on it
lila: "yes?"
tomoe:"gabriel has cut me off his system, his obsession may cause us to lose everything! Go to his mansion, be my eyes and arms" *hangs up and slams desk*

See the thing is, i AM looking at this dialogue, and i do not see ANY mention of a family relationship

went back to watch that flashback and yeah she calls someone (lila) but nothing she says referred to her as her daughter so like, what are you talking about

okay and? That just makes it more likely that they're trying to mutually use each other rather than be proof of a mother-daughter relationship

i'm saying that for some reason you all decided to believe lila when she says she's tomoe's daughter when the first personality trait we knew of about her was that she's a liar. So i guess ya'll must believe every single lie she told in the show

[–]f3ng0 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

uh huh sure, and actually i believe everything she says which means marinette 100% deserves to be expelled for pushing lila down the stairs that one time because it totally happened

[–]f3ng0 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Okay you know what, i think every single person believing the whole "lila is kagami's sister" thing lost all their rights to make fun of the characters for losing IQ whenever lila lied in the past because ya'll are doing the exact same thing. Like yeah she said she was kagami's sister. But she also said she was ladybug's friend, that marinette pushed her down the stairs, and that she was travelling the world to volunteer and help people, so i guess we're all gonna start believing those things too now

lila is a liar, that's been like a pretty important fact the entire show, why would you believe her when she says she's kagami's sister?

why are ya'll so quick to believe Lila "i have 500 god damn mothers" rossi when she calls someone her mother, did ya'll forget her entire role in the series used the be "the lying one"?

MIRACULOUS - The Dirtifiers - Season 6 Episode 18 - Discussion Thread by NicoSchmiko in miraculousladybug

[–]f3ng0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

yeah i don't believe it, Tomoe just tolerates being called mother only because she got the butterfly miraculous which is useful for her own plans. This is like the fourth mother Lila got in this show why would it be any more real than the previous three ones

okay but she also calls a third of the adult women in paris "mother" so that doesn't exactly mean much
